| Q1 | Why is there no upgrade option available for this version? |
| A | The software house supporting HPS has changed (from Trenstar to Lshift). As this version is substantially different, and has been re-branded, it was sensible to provide this version as an independent program without any connection with previous versions or databases. This also provides an opportunity to cleanse databases of old discontinued products. |
| |
| Q2 | Do I need to upgrade to this latest version of HPS? |
| A | We recommend that you do so because of enhancements and the removal of bugs. |
| |
| Q3 | What are the main changes to the old version? |
| A |
- On first install no registration is required
- Easier log-on (log-on screen pre-filled with username and password)
- Both agents and suppliers can upload the same files (you will not encounter the 'Not authorised to import this file' message.
- Cleanse database facility to allow the removal of redundant records
- New format for T1 labels
- New label validation facility

| Q4 | Do I need to remove the old version of HPS? |
| A | We recommend that you do so - but only after the new version has been populated with all the necessary product data. |
| |
| Q5 | Can I use the new version straight away? |
| A | You will need to populate the database with product data by importing an upload file. |
| |
| Q6 | How do I obtain an upload file in order to populate the database with product data? |
| A | These are provided either by your local Habitat agent, or direct from the Habitat head office in London. In either case you will receive the upload file as an e-mail attachment. To request a file from the Habitat head office e-mail the relevant person in RSCM. |
